NHS Advisors

Mr. Turner is a life-long learner, leader and scholar, dedicated to helping students heighten their skills of Scholarship, Service, Leadership, and Character. As a result, students will become productive citizens and leaders of tomorrow. Through the CA-NHS chapter, and working in partnership with co-advisor, Ms. Kathleen Waters, new inductees and graduates of years to come, may showcase the positive impact the NHS has made on their lives and the lives of others.

Ms. Waters has served as a Carman-Ainsworth NHS advisory adviser for over 10 years. In this time, she has shown dedication to the student body by leading them to exemplify the four pillars of NHS. These characteristics include Scholarship (good grades), Service (helping in the community of Flint), Leadership (working with their fellow students), and Character (having a good moral standard). Ms. Waters looks forward to working with her co-advisor, Mr. Turner, NHS leaders, and future candidates of NHS for the 2023-2024 school year. Together, we will serve and help build a better CA community, as well as the Flint community at large, which can be taken to the world.
